Green California Summit 2012

It’s not too late to register online!  The Green California Summit and Exposition will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center in California from April 26th to the 27th.  The Keynote, the Expo, and the Green Leadership Awards Reception are free to all registrants.  Speakers include Kevin Johnson (Go Bears!), the Mayor of the City of Sacramento, and Dan Adler, the President of the California Clean Energy Fund.  Seminar topics range from green schools to alternative fuel vehicle infrastructure, and from energy efficiency in existing buildings to fuel cell technology.

The environmental policies that California government has enacted in recent years have set the stage for a future in which economic growth and resource conservation go hand in hand.

This future can only be achieved if the goals of policy are well understood, strategies and tools for implementation are identified and shared, and the varied participants in the state’s green “ecosystem” are aware of what others are doing.

This ecosystem is working to provide many services – including energy efficiency, renewable generation, building retrofits, green jobs, funding and incentives.

The 2012 Green California Summit is the place to come to discover innovations in policy, practice and technology that can keep green programs healthy and expanding.

Led by an Advisory Board that includes leaders from government and industry, the Summit brings sustainability to life through education sessions, keynote presentations, an Expo featuring green products and services and the Summit’s annual Leadership Awards.

The theme of the 2012 Summit is “Building a Green Future for the Golden State.”

Come to the Summit to discover the resources that exist to help you and your organization achieve your sustainability goals. Keynote sessions and the Expo – including more than 200 companies – are free to registered attendees.
