World Sustainable Energy Days will take place on February 25th – 27th in Wels, Austria. It is a global meeting place for the sustainable building community and brings together six conferences: European Nearly Zero Buildings Conference; Young Researchers’ Conference: Energy Efficiency; Energy Efficiency Watch Conference; Energy-Efficient Commercial Buildings Conference; European Smart Windows Conference; and European Pellet Conference. It will also feature a trade show on renewable energy and energy efficiency in buildings; technical site visits/building tours; B2B meetings; and poster presentations.
The European Nearly Zero Buildings Conference topics range from Global Views on NZEBs to Showcasing Upper Austrian NZEBs and feature speakers from Austria, Germany, Croatia, UK, and many other countries. The Young Researchers’ Conference: Energy Efficiency will feature discussions on How Climate Change Affects the Dutch Housing Stock and the Cost-Optimality of an Office Building with Small Scale Biomass Cogeneration. The Energy Efficiency Watch Conference topics range from Energy Efficiency and Energy Security to Smart Home & Smart Energy: Toys or Tools for Energy Efficiency. The Energy-Efficient Commercial Buildings Conference topics will focus on the Market Overview of Energy Efficiency in Commercial Buildings and Technical Innovations and Examples.
