UPADSD, the Urban Planning and Architectural Design for Sustainable Development Conference, will take place on October 14th – 16th in Enna, Italy. Urban development has led to deterioration of the environment and has worsened the problems faced by rural areas such as mountain regions and coastal areas. Taking into consideration the interaction between different regions and developing new methodologies for monitoring, we can plan and implement novel strategies to avoid solutions that lead to environmental pollution and non-sustainable use of available resources.
