Improving Sustainability Concept in Developing Countries

ISCDC, the Improving Sustainability Concept in Developing Countries Conference, will take place on December 2nd – 4th in Cairo, Egypt.  The conference’s main goal is to enhance and spread the role of sustainable architecture in improving the quality of the built environment in developing countries by saving energy, using renewable energy, and using efficient sustainable building materials and other aspects that achieve the environmental efficiency.

In addition, the conference also emphasizes the use of energy performance simulation in the design process of sustainable architecture. Using simulation tools facilitates achieving accurate and innovative results for studying energy consumption in buildings for both new and existing buildings as well.  Overall, the target is to exchange knowledge and experience between architects, scientists, engineers, environment experts, students, and stake holders in order to evolve our built environment and innovate new approaches that contribute to improving sustainability in developing communities.

Currently there is a Call for Papers.
