Declare – Materials Transparency Webinar

The Declare – Materials Transparency webinar will take place on May 28th at 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. P.S.T. Material health and ingredient disclosure is a growing concern for the building production industry. Declare, the Ingredients label for building products, is leading the charge for a remaking of the materials industry to embrace transparency and toxic chemicals avoidance by displaying ingredient information in a simple, easy to use format. This webinar will introduce the Declare program and give both specifiers and manufacturers the knowledge and skills they need to use the Declare label as a tool for market transformation. Learning Objectives include: Understanding the critical importance of ingredient disclosure and toxic chemical avoidance; Outlining the aspects of a Declare label and the program requirements; Describing the business case for manufacturers to be transparent with customers and stakeholders about their product’s ingredients; and Explaining how to incorporate healthy materials into Living Building Challenge and other sustainable building projects.
