Christian Cermelli

Christian Cermelli, Guest Contributor, is a co-inventor of the WindFloat concept, along with his long-time friend and business partner, Dominique Roddier. They founded Marine Innovation & Technology, a consulting services firm, in 2003. Prior to that, Christian worked for over 10 years as a Naval Architect for a major oil company and large oil services firms.

He is a registered professional engineer and member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. After receiving his undergraduate degree in ocean engineering and fluid mechanics in France, he obtained a PhD in Naval Architecture from U.C. Berkeley in 1995.

Christian now lives near Marseilles, France and acts as Chief Naval Architect for Principle Power, Inc.
